The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) was established to the State of Hawaii by the Constitutional Convention of 1978, committed to ensure Native Hawaiians and ohana are aware of existing resources and assets set aside to ensure the perpetuation of the Native Hawaiian people and culture. OHA’s mandates are aimed to help Native Hawaiians reach their personal educational and training goals by helping them pay for college and provide the opportunity for a better life and future for all Native Hawaiians.
